  2. In Asia, the west and north are dry. In the winter, cold artic air brings little water in the air so it’s dry. Most of northern China and southern Mongolia receive only enough rain for a steppe climate. If there’s a dry summer and then it’s followed by a harsh winter its called a dzud. People fear this because then their livestock is too weak from not enough food from the summer to survive the winter. There was a dzud for 3 years and it killed more than 10million animals.

That’s a tough question. They live her because that’s all they know how to do. Farm, survive, and earn a living. Also it may have to do with their religion. You know to live here and all.

  3. Dry air that blows across Asia from the north causes this dry climate. They get a little moisture in the winter from the Arctic air. However, small amounts of rain come with some dry summers followed by a dzud. A dzud is a Mongolian word for a harsh winter. It is hard to keep there livestock alive during dzuds for the lack of food. Killing about 10 million animals. Some areas are very dry because the mountains block the rain.

Monsoons decrease the moisture by releasing it in the air before reaching inland. This causes an even more dry climate. People still live here because of the grass. There is large graalands in this region. The grasses are good for raising goats, cattle, camels, and sheep.

  4. It is very dry in the northern and far western parts of East Asia. In the summer dry air comes from the west covering all across Asia. Mongolia and China recieve so little rain that it makes the climate only a steppe climate. When you have a dry summer and a harsh winter its called a dzud. The mongolians fear dzud conditions. Most of the areas are so dry because they get barly any rain during the summer. The gandi is a vast desert region and to the mongolian people it means place with no water.
The monsoon help the people of East Asia by giving them moister and water for the crops. Then it also destroys homes and places were people live. I think that people live there because it warmer there and maybe they keep living there because of there culture. They also have probably adaptideto the area that they live in.

  5. Mongolia and China only get enough rainfall to make a steppe. Grasslands grow in dry climate. Grass will support the animals here. Summers are dry here and sometimes get fainfall. Dzuds a weater pattern of a harsh winter are in Mongolia.About 10 million animals die. They get 0.5 rain each year.

The live by the oceans and seas that monsoons strick fast. Poeple should have forcasts here to see when to climb up the roof.
