Southeastern Asia is basicly made of peninsulas, the mainland, and islands. Side by side mountains cross through the mainland. they usally are seperated by rivers or deltas which create fertile soil. Many people take advantage of the soil and the water and live near them. There are also bad things like earthquakes and valcanoes. The mainland is home to part of the Ring of Fire. The Ring of Fire is a "ring" of valcanoes that surround the Pacific Ocean. Those valcanoes create fertile soil that is good for farming so its not all bad.
ReplyDeleteSoutheast Asia has a mainland of peninsulas and thousands of islands. Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam lie entirely on Southeast Asia’s mainland. The countries of Indonesia, East Timor, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, and the Philippines are entirely or mostly made up of islands. Indonesia and the Philippines are archipelagoes. Mainland Southeast Asia is crossed by mountains that run side by side, or cordilleras.
ReplyDeleteThe Ring of Fire is a ring somewhere in the world where tectonic plates move so that volcanoes and earthquakes often occur there. The Ring of Fire helps farming because of the fertile soil. Right below the volcanoes is very fertile soil.
Southeast Asias mainland is made up of Peninsulas and thousands of islands. The mainland of Southeast Asia is crossed by cordilleras, or mountians the run through it side by side. There are thousands of islands and on them are found active volcanoes even though they are in danger the people like living there because it helps there farmland.
ReplyDeleteThe ring of Fire helps mostly everyone in Southeast Asia because alot of people that live there are farmers. The volcanos help the farmland by making it fertile sence pretty much all of them are active. It also probably gives the people more farmland to plant there crops.
Southeast Asia is mainly one large Peninsula. But has many many smaller islands that branch off. There are several countries that make up this area. Those countries include Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam. Those countries are the ones that lie completely on the mainland of Southeast Asia.
ReplyDeleteYet there are more Countries that make up Southeast Asia but lie in the Ocean. Some of those countries are Singapore, Malaysia, and East Timor. Mainland Southeast Asia is crossed by cordilleras. A cordillera is a mountain ranges that run side to side. And fertile river plains and deltas seperate the mountain ranges.

ReplyDeleteSouth of China lies Southeast Asia; this area has lots of islands and a mainland of peninsulas. A good amount of countries lie on Southeast Asia’s mainland. The mainland is crossed by cordilleras. A cordillera is mountain ranges that lay side by side. Fertile plains and deltas separate these cordilleras. Many of the islands are mountainous islands off the mainland that hold many active volcanoes, but people live there for the fertile soil. Three natural causes threaten these areas: Earthquakes, volcanoes, and Tsunamis.
ReplyDeleteThe Ring of Fire is a series of islands. This area has a lot of active volcanoes. This is why it is called the Ring of Fire. When ever one of the volcanoes erupts, ash and lava then fall on the ground. This then creates fertile soil for farmers to farm.
South of China is basicly made up of a lot of islands. Many countrys in southeast Asia are small archipelagos, or chains of islands, that are a part of a big archipelago. Indonesia and the Philippines are just groups of small islands.
ReplyDeleteThe Ring of Fire is a ring of islands around the Pacific Ocean. These islands are mountanius and volcanic. Despite the dangers of these islands, they also are good. When the magma cools down it becomes rich soil.

ReplyDeleteSoutheast Asia lies south of China. This land is area has mainland as well as many islands. The countries that lie in southeast mainland are Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam. The island countries are Indonesia, East Timor, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, and the Philippines. The Mainland Southeast Asia is crossed by cordilleras. Cordilleras are mountain ranges that run side by side. Fertile river plains and deltas seperate the ranges. These Mainlands are homes to most of the Southeast Asian's in this region. south and east of the Mainlands there are thousands upon thousands of mountainous islands. Earthquakes change the islands and how they are placed. And tsunami are not much help either. Tsunami take more than 300,000 lifes, and destroy thousands of homes and businesses.
~Answer~
The Ring of Fire is a ring of volcanoes under the oceans. The Ring of Fire volcanoes are still active. Because of this the soil is fertile. The soil being fertile means the farm land is rich and fertile.
Southeast Asia has a mainland of peninsulas and islands. The mainland of Southeast Asia is crossed by cordilleras. Cordilleras are mountain ranges the run side by side. Fertile river plains and deltas separate these ranges. Many mountainous islands hold active volcanoes such as the Ring of Fire. Despite the dangers of the active volcanoes, they provide rich soil.
ReplyDeleteThe Ring of Fire is a ring of active volcanoes. It stretches from New Zealand all the way to the coast of Asia. The ring of fire helps with farming because it provides rich soil.
Southeast Asia is made up of many peninsulas and islands. On the mainland of Southeast Asia you would find cordilleras. All the islands that are not connected to mainland Asia are found in a region called the Ring of Fire where there are many active volcanoes. Although these volcanoes are very dangerous it leaves behind very fertile soil for farmers to use. Another problem the islands of Southeast Asia faces would be the earthquakes and tsunamis that flood and kill thousands of people.
ReplyDeleteThe Ring of Fire affects the islands of Southeast Asia that lie in the area where the Pacific Ocean’s tectonic plates cause many volcanoes to erupt. Most islands in the Ring of Fire are very mountainous islands. Those volcanoes can be very deadly but also can help farmers. After a volcano erupts it leaves behind a rich soil that is perfect for farming. So, farmers in this region take advantage of these volcanoes and use what it leaves behind for farmland.
Southeast Asia has thousands of islands and a mainland of peninsulas. Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam lie completely on the mainland. Indonesia, East Timor, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, and the Philippines are either completely islands, or part of an island. River plains and deltas seperate cordilleras that cross Southeast Asia. Cordelleras are mountain ranges that run side by side. Islands are challenged by earthquakes. They can kill thousands of people and destroy many homes.
ReplyDeleteThe Ring of Fire is part of an island with many active volcanoes. It was formed from plate movement causing earthquakes which caused they volcanoes to erupt. Even though they can destroy many things they are good for farming. The volcanoes provide rich soil. Farmers can take advantage of this soil once the volcano erupts.
Southeastern Asia’s mainland is mainly made up of peninsulas, along with thousands of islands. The countries of South Asia that are made up of islands are Indonesia, East Timor, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, and the Philippines. The islands of Indonesia and the Philippians are both archipelagoes. An archipelago is a chain of islands. The mainland of Southeast Asia is divided by cordilleras. Cordilleras are mountain ranges that run side by side.
ReplyDeleteThe Ring of Fire is an area that borders the Pacific Ocean. It is known for the plate movements that cause a lot of earthquakes and volcano eruptions. Even though the volcanic eruptions can be very dangerous, the volcanoes provide rich soil. The rich soil is very good for farming. So the farming regions in the area of the Ring of Fire grow great because of the rich soil.
The mainland of Southeastern Asia is made up of peninsulas and has thousands of islands. Both of the countries Indonesia and the Philippines are archipelagoes. Southeast Asia is crossed by cordilleras. Cordilleras are basically mountain ranges that run side by side. Many of the islands off of Southeastern Asia are part of the Ring of Fire and hold many active volcanoes.
ReplyDeleteThe Ring of Fire is a series of island chains that hold many active volcanoes. I think that because there are so many active volcanoes, so when they erupt the lava goes down and makes all of the hard soil softer so crops are easier to grow. Also when the top of the volcano falls off it puts softer soil in the place where there wasn’t any soil.
Southeast Asia is mostly peninsulas and islands. The countries of Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam are all completely on the mainland. The countries of Indonesia, East Timor, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, and the Philippines are completely or partly islands. Southeast Asia is crossed by mountain ranges that run side by side, also known as cordilleras. Most of Southeast Asians live on fertile river plains and deltas which separate the two mountain ranges. Mountainous islands are located southeast of the mainland. These islands have many volcanoes because of their location in the Ring of Fire. In 2004, a tsunami was caused by an earthquake and washed over the lowlands causing over 300,000 people to die.
ReplyDeleteThe Ring of Fire is an area where plate movements cause earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. The volcanoes are the part of the Ring of Fire which can help with farming. They help with farming because they provide rich soil which results in good crops.
